Sunshine Blogger Award | Take Two

**My first take can be found here**

Hello Lovelies! I was nominated a couple of months ago for this award again and, at the time, my mother has just passed away from a heart attack and I took a break from blogging. Well since I’m back now, I decided to do this post because it meant so much to me to be nominated a second time byΒ Ally @ Ally Writes Things and especially at the time that I was nominated. Here is the post where she nominated me if you wanted to check it out.

πšƒπ™·π™΄ πšπš„π™»π™΄πš‚:

π™Όπšˆ π™°π™½πš‚πš†π™΄πšπš‚:

1. If you could co-author a book with anyone, who would it be and why?

SARAH. J. MAAS!!! There could be no other answer for this question!!! I just love her books and her writing style so much and I would be honored to co-write a book with her.

2. If you could read a book for the first time again, which book would it be?

ACOMAF! It is my favorite book of all time and, while I love rereading it each year, it just isn’t the same as that first time. And there is truly nothing like reading your favorite book for the first time.

3. Are there any books you wish you didn’t read?

The Neighbor #4 because this book just made me so incredibly angry and was a complete waste of my time. I. HATED. IT.

4. What’s your dream job?

This probably isn’t too surprising, but my dream job would be an author. I would just love to walk into a book store one day and see my book sitting there on a shelf. It would just be a dream come true!

5. What was your favorite book you had to read for school?

Ohhh.. This was more of a tough questions because, let’s just be honest, I hated every book that I had to read for school… But I dug deep, and remembered I had to read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for school one year and I absolutely loved it! So that would have to be the answer.

6. Why did you start your blog?

About a year ago, I started finding other blogger’s website when I looked up book reviews. I had been watching BookTube for years and I never had the confidence to make a channel so when I found out that book blogging was a thing, I realized it would be perfect for me. I wanted to find a place to share my love of books and my opinions on them, so I started Autumn Book Reads and… here we are!

7. What’s been your favorite book of 2019 so far?

Probably Remember Us This Way by C.R. Jane because that book just grabbed me from the very first page and just combined so many of my favorite elements. I just couldn’t, and still can’t, get it out of my head for the life of me.

8. Who was your favorite childhood author?

I discovered Cassandra Clare and her enrapturing Shadowhunters universe when I was ten years old and I fell in love! If you have read my About Me page, you know that I dedicate my whole love for reading to her and, to this day, she is still one of my favorite authors.

9. What’s your phone background?

I’m not exactly sure what this question means… But if it is what I think it is, the most phone experience I have is answering them for my mom when her office was super busy.

10. If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be?

This question is SOOOOO hard because there are just SOOOOOO many that I want to meet!!! I just love them all and I would do ANYTHING to meet any of them! BUT if I had to pick one, I would say Will Herondale because I just love him so much and we could talk about books for hours and *exhales dreamily* it would just be perfect!

11. What fictional character do you aspire to be like, and why?

Probably Sang from The Ghost Bird. She just always seems to find the bright side in everything and, despite all that has happened to her, she is still so happy and just a great person.

π™Όπšˆ πš€πš„π™΄πš‚πšƒπ™Έπ™Ύπ™½πš‚:

  1. What is the worst character death you have ever read?
  2. What book would you own a hundred copies of if you could?
  3. What two characters, from different series, do you think would make a great couple?
  4. Who was the first blogger you ever followed?
  5. What character do you wish you could swap places with for a day?
  6. If you could get an ARC of any one of your most anticipated releases, which would it be?
  7. What is your least favorite book you have read this year?
  8. What is a book or series that you feel is overrated?
  9. What is a series you have been wanting to get into, but keep putting off?
  10. What is a hyped book you have no interest in reading?
  11. What is your favorite female and favorite male character?

Sunshine Blogger Award 2019

Hello Lovelies! I got a wonderful surprise this week when I was nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award!! I am so grateful for the nomination and I thank Kristy @ Love Popcorn for nominating me! I have only been blogging for five months and I am grateful beyond words! πŸ’•

π™Όπšˆ π™°π™½πš‚πš†π™΄πšπš‚:

1. Who is your guilty/embarrassing celebrity crush?

~ The German guy from Pitch Perfect 2… I know… There is just something about him. To be fair though, I picture him in a suit and tie. I picture real life people when I am reading a book and he is someone I use frequently.

2. If you could watch any movie again, for the first time, what would it be and why?

~ Dirty Dancing because I watched it a time that I didn’t really grasp the full meaning of the movie like I do now. I feel like I would love and appreciate it more than I already do.

3. What was your least favorite school subject and why?

~ Probably physics/physical science. I have never liked the subject and it was always harder for me to understand. I loved biology/life science and learning about animals, but other types of science just never interested me.

4. Tea or Coffee?

~ Tea… The cold and sugary kind! I’m from Georgia, so could there really have been any other answer for this question?!

5. What would your superhero power be?

~ Mind-reading! I know there would be a lot of complications with it, but I still think that it would be an awesome power.

6. What have you always wanted to try but have never found the courage to do?

~ Get a bookish tattoo. My pain tolerance is basically nonexistent and I am scared that I’m gonna get on the table and chicken out so I haven’t done it.

7. What famous figure would love to slap and why?

~ A few, mainly political figures. But I don’t get into politics on my blog so I won’t be saying who. My blog is about books and I want to keep it that way.

8. If time travel was real, what one moment in history would you want to change?

~ None. From reading as many books as I do, I know that nothing good can come from changing history. You have NO idea what you are doing and what possible outcomes it can have. You might change one bad event in history, only to create ten more.

9. What’s the best accompaniment for pudding: Ice-cream, cream or custard?

~ I’ve never really had anything additionally added to pudding. I might have to try some of these though! But my favorite is banana -if you were curious.

10. In the movie of your life, who would you like to play you?

~ I’ve never really thought about it, but I feel like Candice King would be able to play me best. She looks like me and her role in The Vampire Diaries is very similar in personality to me, so I know she’d be able to act the part right.

11. What advice would you give to 10 year old you?

~ Hold on to childhood for as long as possible, because adulthood is a big kick in the face. πŸ˜‚

π™Όπšˆ πš€πš„π™΄πš‚πšƒπ™Έπ™Ύπ™½πš‚:

  1. If you could read any book again for the first time, which would it be and why?
  2. What is your biggest unpopular bookish opinion?
  3. What is a book that you keep intending to read, but always seem to put off, and why?
  4. What is a book that you have read that has very few ratings on Goodreads, but you still enjoyed it?
  5. What is an underrated series that you feel more people need to know about?
  6. Are book to movie or book to TV show adaptations better?
  7. What is your favorite post that you have done?
  8. If you were to get a bookish tattoo, what would it be and why?
  9. If you could have a conversation with any author, what three questions would you ask them?
  10. What is one of your ships that didn’t work out, but you will still go down with it and defend it anyways? ***REMEMBER TO PUT A SPOILER WARNING***
  11. If you could reverse any three character deaths, who would they be? ***REMEMBER TO PUT A SPOILER WARNING***
