Hello Lovelies! Recently, I came across this tag when I was scrolling through Octavia @ Mythical Reads’s blog. For those that don’t know, Sarah J. I’m going to have to go with Aelin for this one! She is my favorite female character EVER and, I’m sorry, buy Feyre doesn’t even hold a candle to her. Aelin’s snarky personality grabbed me from the very first chapter in Throne of Glass, but it took me a while (probably towards the end of ACOTAR) to warm up to Feyre.

LOOK… I love Rowan… but is this even really a competition? Rhysand is and always will be my favorite male character. They are both great guys and I really love them both, but I would pick Rhys in a heart beat!

This question is really hard for me because I care about them both. I think I’ll have to go with A Court of Thorns and Roses though. When I read Throne of Glass for the first time, I wasn’t absolutely crazy over it and didn’t read the next one until about three weeks after that. When I read ACOTAR for the first time though, I was dying for the next book and payed Amazon A LOT of money to get it to my house as fast as possible. I needed to know what happened next like I needed air.

However, whenever I reread either book, I definitely enjoy Throne of Glass more. The only reason I didn’t pick it for that reason is because I don’t enjoy my rereads of ACOTAR anymore for the ships, not for the writing. In my opinion, ACOTAR is written better.

I really like Nesta, don’t get me wrong. But how could I possibly pick anyone other than Manon for this question? SHE’S MANON BLACKBEAK! She is arguably my second favorite female character ever, the complexity and development of her character is phenomenally written, and she is the creme de la creme of morally grey characters! She’s got it all!!!

I HATE questions like these because they just rip my heart in two! I love all of these characters SOOO much and it sucks to choose between them. With that being said, I think I’m gonna go with The Court of Dreams for this one. I would just give anything to meet them and hanging out with them (even for a couple minutes) would be a dream come true! Plus, to be honest, I’m scared of most of Aelin’s court. I love Manon, I do. But I would freak OUT if I met her!

This is another really though question… Maybe it’s because I haven’t read ACOTAR in a while, but I’m gonna have to go with Aelin and Lysandra. I just feel like their relationship went through so much development and Lysandra’s undying loyalty to Aelin brings me to tears. Mor and Feyre are still 💖 though.

I definitely have to go with Prythian for this one! I just love the idea of all the different courts and the dynamics between them all! I even plan on going a poster of the map on my wall some day!

How is this even up for debate? I might not be Chaol’s biggest fan, but I’d take him over Tamlin in a heart beat! Tamlin did not redeem himself in ACOWAR to me and I still hate him.

I am going to have to go with The Assassin’s Blade on this one. I really liked ACOFAS, don’t get me wrong. I just liked The Assassin’s Blade more. I enjoyed getting to see into Aelin’s past and I loved each of the different stories in it.

HA!! What do you know, the score was tied! 😂 This embodies me as a person when people ask which series I prefer. I guess this won’t be deciding if I like Throne of Glass or ACOTAR more after all!

I highly enjoyed doing this tag and I am sad that it is over! I hope I will get to do it again in the future, maybe with the addition of Crescent City, things won’t be as tied.

… On second thought, I’m conflicted now, I can’t imagine how I’m gonna be after that series comes out and I have three fighting for my heart!
