Princess SOS (The Ravager Chronicles #1) by Sara Page

Synopsis:

SOS… Is there anyone out there listening? Please help…

If you’re receiving this emergency distress signal, my name is Princess Ameia. My escape pod has crashed. I am marooned.

I’ve encountered only one other intelligent life form. He’s big, purple and I think he wants to eat me. He watches me and is preventing me from leaving the pod.

All attempts to communicate with the hostile alien life form have met with failure.

I’m running out of supplies. I’m dangerously low on food and water. I don’t know how much longer I can go on like this. I need help. He’s approaching the pod, it…

SOS… Is there anyone out there listening? Please help…

MINOR SPOILERS THROUGHOUT:
I loved this book! I am not normally a fan of sci-fi romance, but I wanted to try something different and I am so glad that I did! It exceeded the expectations that I had for it and I finished it in one sitting because I could not put it down.

Ameia- I liked Ameia. Even though she made a couple of decisions that I didn’t agree with, I felt like she did the best she could given her situation. I know that I would not have handled being stranded on a weird planet and having a purple alien stalking me well. In fact, I probably would have died if I would have been in her situation.

Beast- Considering the fact that Beast doesn’t speak for the majority of this book, his personality came off very strong. He was a fierce, dominating, and possessive male character… In other words, my favorite book boyfriend type. I loved him and, when he could finally communicate with Ameia, I loved him even more. I am so excited to delve into his character more now that he can talk and express himself.

Overall, I highly enjoyed this book and I will be continuing the series. I want to see more of this world and these characters. This series is labeled as a Reverse Harem and that was what initially drew me to it. I have not seen any evidence of an RH yet, but I am excited at the possibility. I can’t wait to start the next book, The Dark Princes.
